The 11th day…Christmas Eve!

Friday, December 25th, 2009

Although the day has gone by quite quickly for me and hubby, it was the longest day in history for my kiddos!  By now, it’s almost midnight, all the gifts are wrapped and I’m off to bed.  But before I do, a little goodie for you!

I used Mari’s Snow Much Fun for one last project.  I created a printable paper for the kids to write their letters to Santa!

On the 9th day of the blog flip flop…

Wednesday, December 23rd, 2009

First, I can’t believe Christmas is in 3 days.  Second, I braved the crazy people today and finished…everything…completely done.  {{angels singing}}

Now to wrap all my gifts!  It’s been pretty easy with Mari’s gift card holders and the candy bar boxes.  Today, for the 9th day of the Blog Flip Flop with Mari, I’m using Mari’s CD cover.  Wouldn’t it be a nice, easy gift to give a CD of the year’s pictures to a loved one?  This template makes it so easy.  And I used Snow Much Fun again, because it’s just the perfect winter kit!

Sorry for the quick post, but I’ve had a sick little girl at my house…and on her birthday, too!  She has a great birthday story…I posted about it last year.

Day 7…a different take on the gift card holder

Monday, December 21st, 2009

Well…are you having fun with this blog flip flop?  I hope so, ’cause Mari and I sure are!  Doesn’t take much, apparently, to thrill us!  Today I did a different take on a gift card holder.

It seems this year that I am gifting a lot of gift cards.  Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for the gift card…let them choose what they really want.  I just sometimes have a hard time presenting the gift card.  I still want it to look like a package, you know?  Then I saw this cute little holder.  (I couldn’t find it to save my life…if I find it or you know who originally did this, please leave a comment or email me and I’ll edit this post!)  Made with basic shapes and easy to assembly, this bracket card holder is elegantly simple and stands on it’s own.  I used Mari’s kit again…I know, I’m completely obsessed with it!  I punched a hole in the top and tied some cute coordinating ribbon.  This one’s going to Aunt Sarah!
